Alston Human Capital Group is a professional services organization delivering structured workforce re-entry and human capital solutions that produce measurable employment outcomes and long-term community stability. We operate at the intersection of workforce development, re-entry, and employer engagement—designing systems that move justice-impacted men from incarceration into sustainable employment and economic participation.

Through our flagship initiative, Redemption Pathways of Labor, we address the systemic barriers that prevent returning men from securing and retaining meaningful work. Our model aligns structured labor, workforce preparation, and employer partnerships to ensure participants are not only employable, but positioned to contribute as providers, leaders, and stabilizing forces within their families and communities.

Our Approach

Alston Human Capital Group employs a disciplined, trauma-informed, and outcomes-driven workforce re-entry model focused on long-term employment success. Our approach integrates workforce readiness, vocational skill development, employer-aligned placement, and post-employment support to ensure retention, accountability, and advancement.

Unlike short-term placement programs, our work emphasizes structured labor as a stabilizing force—supporting men as they rebuild work identity, economic independence, and family responsibility. Services are coordinated with employers, workforce agencies, and community partners to align preparation with labor market demand and performance expectations, including those outlined under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Redemption Pathways of Labor

Redemption Pathways of Labor is the flagship workforce re-entry model operated by Alston Human Capital Group. The program serves justice-impacted men re-entering society who are committed to rebuilding their lives through work. Participants engage in structured pathways that combine workforce preparation, vocational training, mentorship, and employer-connected job placement.

Post-placement follow-up and retention support are core components of the model, reinforcing employment stability and reducing the likelihood of recidivism. The program is designed to strengthen workforce participation while supporting family stability and community reintegration.

Leadership

Alston Human Capital Group was founded by Richard and Cherie Alston, whose leadership reflects a commitment to accountability, structure, and long-term impact. Their vision centers on restoring dignity through work and building systems that enable men to re-enter society as contributors rather than statistics.

Our Commitment

Alston Human Capital Group is committed to advancing structured labor as a pathway to dignity, responsibility, and generational change. By supporting justice-impacted men in becoming stable workers and providers, we strengthen families, reduce system dependency, and contribute to healthier, more resilient communities.

Organizational Purpose & Alignment

Alston Human Capital Group advances workforce re-entry initiatives that align with the objectives of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) by increasing labor force participation among justice-impacted men, strengthening employment retention, and supporting economic self-sufficiency. Our work prioritizes structured labor as a stabilizing mechanism that directly supports workforce attachment, family responsibility, and community reintegration.

Through Redemption Pathways of Labor, the organization operationalizes its mission by delivering coordinated workforce services that support employment readiness, credential attainment, employer engagement, and post-placement retention—key performance indicators under WIOA and related state workforce frameworks.

Programmatic Alignment to WIOA Priorities

Redemption Pathways of Labor supports WIOA-aligned outcomes by:

  • Preparing justice-impacted men for unsubsidized employment

  • Supporting second- and fourth-quarter employment retention

  • Promoting earnings stability and wage progression

  • Strengthening career pathway participation

  • Reducing system re-entry through stable labor force attachment

Structured labor is intentionally positioned as both an employment strategy and a social stabilizer, reinforcing the program’s mission to restore dignity and purpose while advancing workforce system goals.

Service Delivery Model (Performance-Oriented)

Participants engage in a structured workforce re-entry model that includes:

  • Comprehensive intake and employability assessment

  • Workforce readiness and work-identity development

  • Vocational skill-building aligned to labor market demand

  • Employer-connected job placement

  • Post-placement follow-up to support retention and advancement

This service model supports WIOA accountability measures while advancing the organization’s vision of returning men becoming long-term contributors and providers.

Outcomes & Impact Framework

The success of Redemption Pathways of Labor is measured through employment-related outcomes that reflect both workforce performance and community impact, including:

  • Increased employment placement and retention among justice-impacted men

  • Improved workforce participation and earnings stability

  • Reduced recidivism associated with sustained employment

  • Strengthened family and community stability through reliable income

These outcomes reinforce the organization’s mission-driven focus on dignity and stability while meeting public-sector expectations for measurable workforce impact.

System-Level Value Proposition

Alston Human Capital Group serves as a workforce system partner by aligning mission-driven re-entry services with employer demand, public accountability standards, and community stabilization goals. By positioning structured labor as the central mechanism for change, the organization delivers value to workforce boards, employers, and public agencies seeking scalable, results-oriented re-entry solutions.
